Using a very easy to use program from any workstation attached to the host, you can quickly edit and update your store hours table. And like all other WebMate functions, the moment you change it on the host, it is on the Web. Ease of use, low cost and powerful functionality are what makes WebMate the leader in Store Systems Web Server Technology!

Welcome to the WebMate^tm Demonstration Site. This site is running on Windows NT 4.0 Workstation utilizing mvBASE from RainingData and the Coyote Web Server from Modular Software. One of the adavantages to WebMate over other systems is that you do not need a stand alone Web Server or duplicated files. A correctly configured ComTexT^tm and/or SellMate^tm host is all that you need to create a presence on the World Wide Web. All the pages are interactive with the host databases. Since there is no copying of data, the results of database updates from the host applications, ComTexT or SellMate, are available instantly to the Web browsers.

Another advantage to the WebMate server is that you do not need to know anything at all about the Web or the HTML code that web pages are made of. WebMate offers even the smallest of stores a true, load and go solution to easily getting on the web. However, if you do have someone on staff who can create web pages, these can be integrated with WebMate very easily! And, of course, WebMate can be very easily linked to any existing campus web sites.

WebMate comes in 2 versions. The Standard Edition is composed of the Title Database Browser, the Title Adoption browser, the Multiple Course Material listing and the Online Textbook Reservations.

The Commerce Server adds online merchandise catalog and book ordering. The online catalog allows the user to easily configure and control the store's online merchandise catalog. Images of the items can be included, and are stored on the host system.

WebMate is designed be as easy to use as possible while giving the most value to the net visitors.
